A Song of Hope

Tonight the Purdue Varsity Glee Club will perform a show that benefits a nation struck hard by national disaster. This performance will aid the people of Haiti during a time of great need.

The Glee Club has performed this show a for a number of years, and the proceeds have always benefited the nation of Haiti. In light of their loss, this performance has the opportunity to be inspiring and beneficial to not only the people of Haiti but to all who attend as well.

I know I’m probably going to have a hard time containing my emotions (though I’m already an emotional guy). I’m proud to be a member of an organization and a performance group that has the opportunity to benefit people that are in great need. I don’t know a single person in Haiti, and I can almost guarantee no one else in PMO does. The point of this performance is to help a nation of people…simply because they are in need.

The performance is tonight at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Lafayette at 7:30. For more information check out PMO’s website, or the events page of the St. Mary’s website.
